Littering am Seebecken

Because everything was closed during the coronavirus pandemic, public space was used much more intensively. Utoquai is one of Zurich's typical littering hotspots. Weekends are a busy time. On a very nice day, up to 4.5 tons of trash accumulate on the lakeside promenade. Littering is primarily a "party phenomenon": When a party gets out of hand, trash often ends up next to the trash can.
