Extinction Rebellion—roughly translated as "Rebellion Against Extinction"—is considered one of the more radical groups within the climate movement. It has attracted attention worldwide with disruptive actions, street blockades, and interventions in public spaces. In Zurich, it kept the police busy for several days this fall with sit-ins and other actions. Numerous arrests were made.
