Asylum seekers have been housed in the Crestawald fort near Sufers for two months. Currently, there are around 70 men hoping for a new future in Switzerland at the federal asylum center. They haven't seen much more of their current home than the underground facility next to the A13 motorway and Sufers, two kilometers away. In Sufers, the asylum seekers are greeted with mixed feelings. If the fort were closer to the village, they would resist it, they say. The village shop, in turn, benefits from the additional customers who stock up on beer here. The necessary money for this is provided by those participating in the employment program.
