Fifty years after her death, Marilyn still makes the heart of the City of Angels beat faster. A sprawling city with endless horizons, it was the birthplace of Norma Jeane Baker (her real name) and saw her transform into Marilyn Monroe, icon and sex symbol of Hollywood cinema. But what really remains of Marilyn in 2012? Camera in hand, I headed to Los Angeles with the goal of retracing her life's journey. I visited the places she knew, the places where she lived, and I realized that her blond face is still omnipresent in the city. But I understand that the star has not disappeared, her image imprinting itself even on the skin of her most devoted fans. In 2012, I met Marilyn and I share this experience with you in pictures.
