Roundabout decoration in Seeland

Matthias Käser

For the Bieler Tagblatt of 5th May 2018, roundabout decoration is a “unique phenomenon that can now be described as typically Swiss”. A gallery of pictures features roundabouts and their sculptures across the Bernese Seeland, including the electrical plug, pulled halfway out and aglow during the hours of darkness (38), and the big turnip of Lyss (39), the oversized shopping trolly in Brügg (40), and the acrobatic plane of Grenchen, which has replaced a fighter jet (41).
