Two months before the main breakthrough of the Gotthard Base Tunnel (NRLA), the future world-record tunnel is on everyone's lips. Expectations for the new connection are high – goods transport is to be shifted to rail, and passenger journeys can be processed more quickly. However, the people of Uri fear for their public transport connections. The example of Göschnenen illustrates the fears plaguing the population, as well as the diverse forecasts for the future.
