TIAN, the international treaty for the prohibition of nuclear weapons, signed by 92 countries, has not yet been ratified by Switzerland. The federal chambers are in favor, but not the Federal Council. The GSSA and Contratom, on August 6, 2023, mark the 79th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima, on the MT-Blanc quay. The Russian invasion of Ukraine has brought nuclear disarmament back into the spotlight.
