In two reports, the Tages-Anzeiger newspaper revealed that a nurse from Bavaria had worked in five hospitals in German-speaking Switzerland and a group practice. As a result of the investigation, the nurse was dismissed from her position as an emergency physician in Thurgau. Controls regarding physician licensing are being improved.
