Werner Aeschbacher and his son Thomas Aeschbacher both received the Langenthal Cultural Prize this summer. They were honored for their unique style of folk music. The two have undergone a similar development over the past 20 years, which, however, has its origins in a deep rift between father and son. This contribution recounts this special family story musically.
