Last year, I exposed abuses in the Cantonal Migration Service. In January, I exposed the controversial practice of allocating social assistance at the Hochfeld asylum center. The article resulted in the asylum seekers housed there receiving cash payments since April 2013. Also in April, I published a report by the Cantonal Audit Office that highlighted the extent of the abuses at the Migration Service. Finally, in December, I managed to find the former cantonal asylum coordinator, a person willing to denounce the conditions at the Migration Service, which are now also being investigated by the Grand Council's Supervisory Commission, in very clear terms.
