Within 24 hours, Switzerland won two swimming medals at the Tokyo Olympic Games with bronze medals from Jérémy Desplanches and Noè Ponti. In 1984 – 37 years ago – at the Summer Games in Los Angeles, Étienne Dagon also secured bronze in the 200m breaststroke. No other Swiss swimmer has ever finished in the top three at the Olympics.
