Chaos

Patrick B. Kraemer

When you hear "World Championship," you think of perfect conditions. But for Noè Ponti, Singapore began anything but in a world-class fashion: He started his World Championship adventure in a stuffy hall and a completely overcrowded pool. Despite the chaos in the water and the danger posed by flailing legs, the swimmer from Ticino kept his cool. This composure paid off: He won two silver medals.
