On August 24, 2011, the final championship race of the Cyclists' and Motorcyclists' Association of Lake Zurich, Oberland and Linth Region (RMVZOL) took place in rainy conditions in Isikon (Hittnau municipality). This photo shows Peter Frei on his final lap. What's special about this image is that, as the photographer, I was about to cross the finish line shortly before the field passed this curve. However, I waited briefly for the next rider and then fired my camera. The image is out of camera, meaning it's not cropped, which is unusual for most sports photography.
