In the run-up to the Swiss Wrestling Festival in Burgdorf at the end of August, Radio SRF's regional journal Bern Fribourg Valais broadcast a monthly special on the topic of wrestling. The series began six months before the festival. One of these special features was the radio feature on wrestling legend Ruedi Hunsperger. For the feature, author Christian Liechti let Ruedi Hunsperger recount his eventful life and used historical recordings from the radio archives for the retrospective. Music was also used to set the right mood for the listeners. The author himself is not heard in the report; the program works well without a narrator.
