Who: Journalist Hannes Grassegger has published a brilliant essay entitled "I Am Capital. Ending Digital Serfdom," in which he analyzes life in the digital world and the fate of personal data. He concludes: Data is the most important raw material of the 21st century, and it's time for individuals to reclaim their data from large corporations like Google and Facebook. What: I created a portrait on location in Zurich on this topic, first taking a closeup shot, then transferring it to my iPad via hotspot, and finally portraying Hannes Grassegger again with the displayed closeup and the iPad.
