Since 2014, I've been photographing various events centered around the Schlager music genre. The focus of my work is always the audience. What fascinates me about this topic is the concept of a perfect world evoked in the music and longed for by the audience.

Fotograf, Bischofszell, 1989

Benjamin Manser, geboren 1989, lebt und arbeitet in St. Gallen. Seit seiner Jugend ist die Kamera seine ständige Begleiterin. 2011 schloss er den Fotolehrgang am Medienausbildungszentrum in Luzern (MAZ) ab. Seither fotografiert er für das St. Galler Tagblatt und realisiert eigene Projekte. Im Mittelpunkt seiner Arbeit stehen Porträts und Reportagen.
