The Seealpsee is a lake located at 1,141 meters above sea level in the Alpstein region of Switzerland and belongs to the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden. This is the first time since 2006 that the ice layer of the mountain lake above Wasserauen in the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden has been accessible.

Benjamin Manser, geboren 1989, lebt und arbeitet in St. Gallen. Seit seiner Jugend ist die Kamera seine ständige Begleiterin. 2011 schloss er den Fotolehrgang am Medienausbildungszentrum in Luzern (MAZ) ab. Seither fotografiert er für das St. Galler Tagblatt und realisiert eigene Projekte. Im Mittelpunkt seiner Arbeit stehen Porträts und Reportagen.
