In Switzerland, there are 49 rest stops and countless rest areas along the Autobahn. Many travelers prefer to postpone their pee break rather than have to stop there. For others, they evoke childhood memories of long car rides on vacation. I took a look around at a few of them with my camera.

Benjamin Manser, geboren 1989, lebt und arbeitet in St. Gallen. Seit seiner Jugend ist die Kamera seine ständige Begleiterin. 2011 schloss er den Fotolehrgang am Medienausbildungszentrum in Luzern (MAZ) ab. Seither fotografiert er für das St. Galler Tagblatt und realisiert eigene Projekte. Im Mittelpunkt seiner Arbeit stehen Porträts und Reportagen.
