Neuchâtel Grand Council meeting. The 2017 budget for the State of Neuchâtel forecasts a deficit of 49 million francs. Three-year savings measures totaling 100 million. The debates weren't boring, but members of the government have clearly given a lot of themselves in recent weeks, including Jean-Nat Karakash and Laurent Kurth.

Né à Fribourg, David Marchon se forme à L’Ecole de photographie de Vevey. Après l’obtention de son diplôme en 1995, il travaille trois ans comme photographe freelance; en 1998, il est engagé par les quotidiens neuchâtelois L’Express et L’Impartial. Son univers premier est donc celui de la presse (quotidiens et magazines), dans lequel il privilégie le portrait. Depuis quatre ans il partage un atelier photo avec un collègue photographe à Serrières, et à côté de la photo de presse, qu’il continue d’exercer dans les journaux neuchâtelois, il s’est spécialisé dans la photo de portraits, publicitaire et se donne du temps pour ses projets personnels. Il vit et travaille actuellement à Dompierre et Neuchâtel.
