The annual water fight between Kleinbasel and Grossbasel, 4056 versus 4057: For almost an hour, the residents of Grossbasel and Kleinbasel battled each other until, in the end, no one was left dry. Heavy artillery, light missiles. On Saturday, on the Dreirosenbrücke in Basel, the fun and cooling off were what counted.

Photographer Kostas Maros (*1980) completed a law degree at university and worked in the legal field for several years before switching to photography as a self-taught photographer in 2013. Since then, he has worked for editorial and corporate clients in Switzerland and abroad; he also realizes reportage and art projects. He is a member of the photo agency 13photo (www.13photo.ch). His artistic work is represented by Galerie Wertheimer (www.galeriewertheimer.ch). He has received awards for his photographic work, including the Prix de la Photographie Paris, the Vfg Young Talent Award, and the Swiss Press Award. In 2018, he won the Swiss Photo Award for his work "HIDDEN - Hidden Places in Switzerland."
