Fidel Strub is fighting the battle of his life. As a young man, he wanted to take his own life. Today, he is among the 100 most important figures in the field of health. As a toddler, he survived the deadly bacterial infection noma and later a suicide attempt. Strub succeeded in getting the WHO to recognize noma as a neglected tropical disease and was honored for this by Time magazine in New York.

Photographer Kostas Maros (*1980) completed a law degree at university and worked in the legal field for several years before switching to photography as a self-taught photographer in 2013. Since then, he has worked for editorial and corporate clients in Switzerland and abroad; he also realizes reportage and art projects. He is a member of the photo agency 13photo (www.13photo.ch). His artistic work is represented by Galerie Wertheimer (www.galeriewertheimer.ch). He has received awards for his photographic work, including the Prix de la Photographie Paris, the Vfg Young Talent Award, and the Swiss Press Award. In 2018, he won the Swiss Photo Award for his work "HIDDEN - Hidden Places in Switzerland."
