Sincerity, respect, engagement and an insatiable curiosity of the world are the most dominant aspects that define Pierre-Yves Massot's photographic work. This curiosity led him to make three significant stays of 6 months: one in Russia in 2003, another in Brazil in 2005 and finally one in Berlin in 2014. This same curiosity made him study Sociology and Art History at the University of Freiburg between 2009 and 2013, providing him new tools and interests that still enrich his photographic approach today.
