Marianne Bänninger's dream was to become a kindergarten teacher, but she became a farmer. The 83-year-old has raised five children and numerous calves. While the children are long gone, the animal lover still raises the calves with a bottle if necessary. Writing is and remains a great passion. She enjoys writing poetry.
