An eight- to ten-course pork menu is the centerpiece of the traditional "Fête de la Saint-Martin" in the Ajoie region of Jura. Originally celebrated as a large family celebration, this rural ritual has evolved into a folk festival that attracts more than just homesick Jura residents. For a time, Porrentruy and Chevenez competed for the title of "World Capital of the St. Martin's Festival."
