Kleio Obergfell

This work presents the portrait of a so-called "marginal" community living in a Wagenplatz, a current name for a space occupied and developed by a group of people living in caravans or trucks, a way of life that is found in Europe (Germany, France, Spain, etc.) and has been established in Switzerland for the past twenty-five years. This semi-urban community, established at the gates of the city of Geneva, reflects a lifestyle choice that is situated in between a social, cultural and spatial network.
