After winning the cup final at Letzigrund, the victorious FC Zurich players, or rather their captain Alain Nef and his deputy Gilles Yapi, had to endure the humiliation and carry the trophy to the South Stand. There was no joy in the process, as they had been relegated to the 2nd division a few days earlier.

nach der lehre als fotograf in glarus (foto schönwetter) und zürich (knapp&christ), wie dem besuch der gewerbeschule in zürich wurde ich 1980 im neu gegründeten fototeam des jean frey-verlags aufgenommen. nach 2 jahren betätigte ich mich als freier fotograf, bis ich 1984 beim tages anzeiger eine "fixum"-stelle bekam und im jahre 1986, im zuge der neuen sonntags zeitung beim tages anzeiger fest angestellt wurde und dort heute im fototeam eine 80 %-stelle belege.
