The massive construction site in Zurich West – and in the middle of it stands a house. It stands there like an iron nail that simply won't be pulled out of the wood, no matter what happens around it. That's why it's called the Nail House, symbolizing the resistance of ordinary citizens against the interests of a large company. Intensive construction has been going on in the former industrial district for several years. Sibilla Semadeni shows why someone in the middle of it is resisting so steadfastly.
