For about 10 years now, the NZZ am Sonntag has been asking me at irregular intervals to provide the Sunday afternoon photo. The series has to be shot on a specific Sunday afternoon, and a photo from the series, selected by the editors, is published in the newspaper a week later on half a page. It's exciting to be out and about for this assignment, knowing that I'm the one who has to provide the following week's Sunday afternoon photo. It's a good opportunity to meet strangers. I love to go out and be surprised by what I find. I try to give an insight into life in Switzerland on a Sunday afternoon, ideally focusing on something that is usually overlooked or not even consciously noticed. I took this series on Sunday, March 6, 2011.
