Project Reportage: Sunday Afternoon in Switzerland Printed, March 13, 2011, NZZ am Sonntag - Everyday Life and the Environment. For about 10 years, I have been asked at irregular intervals by the NZZ am Sonntag to provide the Sunday Afternoon Photo. The series must be shot on a specific Sunday afternoon, and a photo from the series, selected by the editors, will be published in the newspaper a week later on a half-page spread. It's exciting to be on the road for this assignment, knowing that I'm the one who has to provide the following week's Sunday Afternoon Photo. It's a good opportunity to connect with strangers. I love to go out and be surprised by what I find. I try to provide an insight into life in Switzerland on Sunday afternoons, ideally focusing on something that is usually overlooked or not even consciously perceived. I shot this series in Zurich on Sunday, August 28, 2011. Published on September 4, 2011 in the NZZ am Sonntag, Society section.
