The village of Hofen, located in the remotest corner of the canton of Schaffhausen, has been politically part of the municipality of Thayngen since 2009. To strengthen the solidarity of its 139 residents, a village association was founded. As its first activity, the Hofen residents inaugurated the newly designed village square with a large celebration.
