A retiree recounts her moving experience with death. She accompanied her husband almost to the point of self-sacrifice. For almost two years, she was in a state of limbo, her emotions fluctuating between hope, anger, fear, and grief.

Während dem Germanistikstudium (Nebenfächer Medien- und Politikwissenschaften) an der Uni Bern arbeitete ich als freier Mitarbeiter und später Teilzeit-Redaktor (In- und Ausland) beim Thuner Tagblatt. Danach war ich für die Schweizerische Depeschenagentur und die Internetplattform www.news.ch als Online-Redaktor tätig, bevor ich 2005 als Redaktor (Lokalressort) beim Thuner Tagblatt angestellt wurde. Zwischen 2004 und 2006 absolvierte ich das Nachdiplomstudium Journalismus am MAZ in Luzern.
