The Christian-oriented El Rafa community in Schwendibach welcomes people in difficult life situations. Former residents are now making serious allegations against founder and director Paul Stettler. He allegedly exploited his position of power and repeatedly physically harassed them.

Während dem Germanistikstudium (Nebenfächer Medien- und Politikwissenschaften) an der Uni Bern arbeitete ich als freier Mitarbeiter und später Teilzeit-Redaktor (In- und Ausland) beim Thuner Tagblatt. Danach war ich für die Schweizerische Depeschenagentur und die Internetplattform www.news.ch als Online-Redaktor tätig, bevor ich 2005 als Redaktor (Lokalressort) beim Thuner Tagblatt angestellt wurde. Zwischen 2004 und 2006 absolvierte ich das Nachdiplomstudium Journalismus am MAZ in Luzern.
