Alinghi nearly capsizes in a gust

On June 5th, at the start of the Geneva-Rolle-Geneva regatta, the TF35 catamarans stood up on their foils and took off towards Rolle at over 20 knots. In the melee, Alinghi almost lost everything. Surprised by a stronger gust, the catamaran helmed by Ernesto Bertarelli came within a whisker of disaster.
