At a time when microplastics and waste of all kinds are also invading Swiss lakes, it is important to clean the banks of Lake Geneva. The 11th Lake Geneva Clean-up serves this purpose; many volunteers participated in cleaning the banks of the riprap, the edges and the bottom of Lake Geneva at the port of Ouchy. The cleaners brought the collected waste onto a tarpaulin so that it could be sorted.
