With its sumptuous costumes and dark stage design, staging the opera Alcina was no simple feat. At the heart of this scenography, designed by Stefano Poda, stands a monumental sphere, all in a very dark and contrasting atmosphere, which constitutes a real photographic challenge. Handel's "Alcina" is of great vocal and instrumental beauty.
