The 8th stage of the Tour de France concluded in the Vaudois capital on Saturday, July 9, 2022, in front of the Stade Olympique de la Pontaise. After passing through the city, the peloton took on the Lausanne slopes for 9 km. Avenue d'Ouchy, Place Saint-François, Pont Chauderon, before tackling the 12% gradient of Avenue de Beaulieu. The finale took place in front of more than 65,000 spectators.
