The loss of control lasts a fraction of a second, precisely the only moment the photographer was interested in. Daniel Rihs drew inspiration for his new series from Philippe Halsman, one of the great portrait photographers of the 20th century.

Daniel Rihs photographs for magazines, newspapers, corporate clients, and NGOs. He specializes in portraits and reportage. Since 2015, he has been a networker at the photography agency 13 Photo. Some of his work has been featured at festivals and exhibitions: Biel Photo Days, Kunsthalle Bern, Museum Africa Johannesburg, European Month of Photography Berlin, Triennial of Photography Hamburg, among others.
