The Banyan Tree has a firm grip on this old warehouse in Tainan. Within just about 50 years, nature has reclaimed it, crack by crack, corner by corner. Now that areas in Taiwan are being protected and farms are being transformed into recreational areas, students are increasingly being given tours of the Anping Tree House: Nature has also taken root in people's minds. The photos were taken during my trip (September/October 2014) for a travel report for the SonntagsZeitung newspaper. It is not yet certain whether these photos will be published.
