The Sputnik jump above Lake Walen is well-known in the global base jumping scene. The flight through the Schattenbach Gorge, in particular, attracts base jumpers from all continents to Sarganserland. Simon Wandeler, one of the best base jumpers of all time, gives us an exclusive insight into the base jumping scene in the Churfirsten Alps. After extensive research and many discussions, we were able to accompany the man from Central Switzerland with our camera this fall.
