This report is both a narrative and an investigation into one of the worst high-altitude tragedies in Valais. In March 2024, members of the same family disappeared near Tête Blanche. Three brothers, their uncle, their cousin, and a young woman lost their lives during a ski tour. The six climbers were caught at an altitude of 3,500 meters by a violent foehn storm.
