The photo essay documents daily life in Igboland, the City and State of Enugu, 50 years after the end of the Biafra war, of which Enugu was the capital. Far from the memory of hungry children and destroyed cities, modernity has brought wealth and work to the Igbo region. The economy is booming, even if the country is deeply affected by corruption and political misgovernment.
