As the author Jeremias Gotthelf, he enjoyed success with his short stories. As Pastor Albert Bitzius, he often felt misunderstood. While the theologian always strove to speak clearly in the pulpit, he was particularly resonant with the literature he wove into his sermons. Nach der Lehrerausbildung Einstieg als freier Mitarbeiter und später als Redaktor bei Radio Förderband in Bern. Studium der Kommunikationswissenschaften an der Universität Freiburg. Nach Absolvierung der Ringier Journalistenschule (1999-2000) Redaktor bei der Tageszeitung «Der Bund». Anschliessend Redaktor bei der SRF3-Hintergrundsendung «Input» und Produzent des SRF-Nachrichtenmagazins «Heute Morgen». Wechsel ans Stapferhaus Lenzburg als Ausstellungs-Projektleiter. Seit 2009 Redaktor, Moderator und Produzent beim Regionaljournal Bern Freiburg Wallis von Radio SRF.
