We covered mathematics in a multimedia special in 2015 when it became known that many high school and secondary school students were failing. One element of the special is a video that, in just under four minutes, recounts the history of mathematics in Bernese German and with cartoons, stretching back to ancient Egypt. The video has already won the European Newspaper Award.
