In June 2010, restaurant owner Eugen Näf disappeared from Weinfelden. His car was later found by police in Ticino. There was no trace of him. His family and regular customers remained. The restaurant has been closed ever since, and wild rumors surround Eugen Näf's disappearance. The family was informed of the report and agreed with it, but declined to comment.
