In the capital, Port-au-Prince, it is not yet possible to begin reconstruction. First, the authorities must do their homework. Therefore, in the capital, Solidarity is initially focusing on education and health issues, as well as social tasks: provisionally repairing schools, feeding and supporting street children, and helping those who have suffered physical disabilities as a result of the earthquake.
