This is a reportage made in two rest areas for nomads (in Schachen, on the outskirts of Aarau; in Seghezzone, on the outskirts of Giubiasco) last fall. I interviewed four Yenish representatives, including a former street child, a researcher on nomads, and two members of the Ticino unit that deals with the rest area issue. It's striking that the Yenish express no resentment over past discrimination, but rather regret over the lengthy delays in obtaining compensation.
