This report is part of the background program La Marella on Radio Rumantsch (RTR). The report is a diary of Engadin snowboarder Elena Koenz during her summer. Special: Elena Koenz carried a microphone with her throughout the summer to create her own diary entries. These also correspond to the athlete's Facebook posts – photos of these are integrated into an online photo gallery. Elena Koenz was completely free to write her entries. I also visited her at various locations, which also provided an outside perspective on the athlete's everyday life. For example, this also provides a glimpse into the artistic side of the athlete, who has studied art: the visit when Koenz helped her aunt create a sgraffito (a house decoration in the plasterwork – an old Engadin tradition) on a new house. Although the diary is a radio broadcast, there is also a film online documenting various locations and a photo gallery. This provides a very special insight into the life of a local Engadin personality, with various dimensions.
