Fabian Stamm wurde 1983 in Schaffhausen, Schweiz, geboren. Nach der Lehre als Desktop Publisher fotografierte er zwei Jahre für eine Regionalzeitung, ehe er 2011 am MAZ – Die Schweizer Journalistenschule in Luzern den Studiengang«Redaktionelle Fotografie» abschloss. Eigene Projekte, vor allem im Nahen Osten, aber auch Reportagen im eigenen Land, folgten. 2012 gewann er den Globetrotter World Photo Award, der es ihm ermöglichte, ein Langzeitprojekt im Nordirak zu realisieren. 2014 gewann er den Kulturpreis des Kantons Schaffhausen. Fabian Stamm ist Partnerfotograf der Agentur Keystone. Er lebt und arbeitet in Winterthur.
