One of Switzerland's greatest football talents, Josip Drmic, failed the naturalization tests in the municipality of Freienbach twice. As a result, he was denied a passport and was unable to play for the youth national team. The association, club, and management stood up for him, as the tests were not fair. We uncovered this case, which garnered national media attention. Josip was also given one last chance, which he used convincingly and now holds a Swiss passport.
