Sure, the first camera was his, but today it's the other way around: he gets the old ones from me. As important as he was to my decision to become a photographer, there hasn't been a portrait of him yet. A problem we've finally rectified at the family home in the Lower Engadine.

Mara Truog, 1977, in Bern geboren, liess sich in London und Zürich zur Fotografin ausbilden und schloss 2002 an der ZHDK Studienbereich Fotografie ab. Sie arbeitet seither als freie Fotografin für diverse Magazine und Zeitschriften, mit dem Schwerpunkt Portrait - und Reportage Fotografie.
